Post Title: IMAGES Reflective Report Writer
Status: Individual consultant
Duration of contract: 2 months
Supervisor: IMAGES Project Manager
Location : Jakarta
II. Organizational Context
The commitment of the PPPI in encouraging the governance reform in Indonesia is carried out through the PPPI programs. One PPPI programs encourages the disclosure of public information, dissemination of UU KIP and transparency practices in the K/L’s budget and performance in Indonesia; this program is called Improving Ministries and Agencies Website for Budget Transparency, or IMAGES.
After 2 years of project implementation, documentation of the program’s achievements into a reflective report, can outline the program’s best practices and lessons learned. This report will be used as a basis for the next program development.
The substance of the report will also consist of learning practices carried out by all stakeholders in their effort to internalize the principles of public information disclosure, UU KIP and transparency in Budget and Performance and in the K/L.
Under the guidance and supervision of the IMAGES Project Manager, the Writer will be responsible to develop the report, through collecting data and information, drafting, analyzing and finalizing materials, and ensuring the quality of the report. The writer will ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved.
The Writer will carry out her/his task directly under the supervision of the IMAGES Project Manager. The Writer will work in close collaboration with the project team in PPPI. The Writer will be assigned for 2 months. Traveling to the project activities in the regions would be part of the assignment, when considered as necessary.
III. Functions / Key Results Expected
Function:
1. Collecting data and information related with efforts, lessons learned and best practices of the projects (IMAGES)
2. Attending meetings conducted by the Project Manager/PPPI
3. Presenting the results to the IMAGES project manager and related PPPI staff
4. Finalizing the draft report
Key Expected Result:
1. First draft of reflective report with info-graphics and highlights
2. Finalized report, incorporating inputs from the PPPI’s staff review.
IV. Impact of Results
The key results have an impact, as best practices may be replicated by other actors. Moreover, the reflective report will be utilized as the basis for program development of other PPPI projects.

VI. Recruitment Qualifications
Education and Skill:
At least Masters degree in relevant field (PhD Degree is preferable); having good knowledge on public policy, disclosure of information issues, PPIDs in K/L’s, K/LS budget and performance documents; clear commitment to governance reform; skills to write a report in English
Experience:
Extensive experience in conducting qualitative research; extensive experience in report writing with various donor agencies; able to work with a pro-active approach and minimal supervision, but achieves targets.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
