Wija started his working career in investment banking and hedge-fund industry for fifteen years before joining Paramadina University in 2007. He is the co-founder and the Managing Director of PPPI (2010-2014). He was also the Vice Rector of the same university (2007-2014), and is currently Special Staff of the Vice President of Indonesia for Economic & Finance (2014-2019). Wija, a Fulbright scholar, holds a master degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and bachelor degree in civil engineering from Gajah Mada University.
