To achieve its goals, a think-thank should have strong and clearly stated core values. We
interpret our core values as follows:
Independence: The Institute puts public interest, above the interest of certain groups,
meaning that our program is directed toward the betterment of public life. Our funding
sources are selected carefully to avoid conflicts of interest and to ensure that values are
not compromised. Should a conflict of interest arise, we make a proper declaration.
Excellence: The Institute use reliable data and research methodology to ensure that it
works in areas within its expertise and capability. We keep the public well informed on our
activities and ensure transparency.
Influence: The Institute believes that an idea is great if it has impact. Quality is one half
of the coin; practicability, the other half. We assure that our projects are not only
academically sound but also applicable and well articulated to policy makers
